After a long and tiresome car ride with torrential rains almost
constantly pouring down, Oliver Freddy and Inge had finally made it
up to the lake to start their 5th semester at university..
Still though, Inge just had to taste the rain for a bit, before they
went inside to their dorm. Welcome back. ;)
The dorm was still quiet and empty as none of the other residents
(and potential new students) hadn't arrived yet, so after a few
flirtatious remarks between them, Oliver Freddy suggested they go
hang out at the coffee shop to get a coffee, maybe...
As soon as they arrive, Inge wants to take a picture of them to
post on her social media page... "Finally back at at the lake to
start our fifth semester. Can't wait!"
This turns their trip to the coffee shop into a date, which is
just what Oliver Freddy had hoped for.
Though their idea of a date is to sit down and read books. Well,
wasn't much else there to do there, as the barista had called in
sick, so there was noone there to serve them coffee.. Oliver Freddy
wasn't done reading about plantsims, as he went to pick up that book
again. He knew about his aunts science project of researching on
plants and that maybe one day they would actually crack the code on fusing plant and human DNA. Maybe, because currently that
seemed to be very far into the future still.. None of the
experimental plants so far has survived for much longer than a
week...
He's not even sure if it's possible, but it makes for an
entertaining read. ;)
Then I'm so kindly notified about Samanthas whereabouts. Apparently she just went into the store to sell some goods of some kind.
Though Oliver Freddy and Inge only sit down to read books, Samanthas brother Tony is there being a little mushy with a local paparazzi..
Then our couple has to make a dash for it through the rain and to the Student Union, because it's the usual meeting to pick up stuff, as it always is at the start of every semester..
This is all routine by now...
After picking up his stuff, Oliver Freddy wants to continue the
date by going to the cinema...
A perfect thing to do on such a grey and rainy day. There was
already a decent sized crowd outside, waiting for the doors to open
and the movie to begin.. Of course, Oliver Freddy had chosen the most
romantic sounding movie there was on for this occasion, hoping to get
a kiss or two, maybe.. ;)
Back at their dorm, people have returned again. Jonathan Dirk, who
just finished his degree in sports last semester, is back for more
studying.. Maybe he still has a crush on Inge? I don't know, but time
will tell.. Currently he's celebrating being back, having his selfie
taken with Matthew Tellmer. Ayana Yuki is nowhere to be seen though, so she has probably moved on with her life...
Then there's Liz Tarry who looks very proud of some item that
resembles an old phonograph.. I don't know why she's proud of it, if
it's something she just bought or won, or was given as an award for
some academic performance. Whatever it's for, Jonathan isn't very
impressed..
She shows it to Matthew as well, and he finds it much more interesting. So much so, that it lights a spark between them and attraction happens.

Over at the theatre the movie finishes without any kissing going on, and just as they exit they briefly catch Samantha waiting for the next movie to start. She was in the mood for a real action move, as the next one to be screened was Facekicker 5 1/2: A round of serious face kicking. Inge wants to hang out with Samantha later, but as she is just to about to enter to watch the movie and the weather is still really poor and, they run on over to the bowling alley next door to take cover.
..and while they're there they might as well just go for a round of bowling, until Inge gets a phone call.
It was Miles Forthright, he was hosting
a party and wanted Inge to join. The tables were still in their
upside down positon as it was Inge who continued to get all the party
invitations now, when Oliver Freddy got none...
"Are you
coming, honey?" she asked him "The party begins soon, and I
really want to go.."
"Yeah... yeah, sure.." Oliver Freddy wasn't all that interested in partying anymore. Feeling like a seasoned student now, he thought it was more important to keep a good academic score than it was to waste the nights drinking, playing silly games and watching random people play guitar for hours on end.. but if she really wanted to go, then.. sure...
Inge is in the drivers seat on this
one. ;)
Oliver Freddy on the other hand goes
downstairs into the basement to practice holding a lecture about the
science of tuning pianos, but gives up after a while as nobody is
down there listening...
So what else is there to do, but
to go upstairs and watch Jonathans guitar playing.. just like the old
days. ;) They've been together as a couple for quite some time now,
seeing as how they were already dating when they were in high school,
so this one might just last for life.
It's so beautiful, Inge just has to shed a few tears thinking about it.. Oh, these waves of life and how they just completely wash over her sometimes.. It feels so intense just to think about it, all these tiny moments that add up to be the sum of her life.. Small droplets of memories here and there falling down in her watershed, creating tiny streams adding together into rivers flowing down into the reservoir that is her heart until she just can't hold it in and it overflows.. It's both a blessing and a curse to be such a sensitive soul..
She definately feels lucky to have her boyfriend there by her side, supporting her and backing her up whenever the emotions become to much to handle..
There isn't a greater turn on in the world, and she does what she just has to do.. walk with him to a room where they can get a little more privacy...
..where nothing exists but the two of
them.. ;)
..but of course, it wouldn't be a
proper party without people gathering in a group pretending to groove
to a guy playing guitar in the guestroom..
Inge then spots another of her old friends there, as Liz has also made it to the party, now lost in the tunes coming from the guitar. She appears not to notice Inge, but Inge is still really excited to have seen her again.
Oh, it feels so good to be back again
after summer. It almost gets a little overwhelming again, so Inge
just thinks she needs to leave everyone for a while to calm down with
a drink in the backyard..
It's just gonna be this one drink, and that will be it. She can't see how that's gonna hurt anything... and this is fine, she's at a party. This is what people do, she's just being young, enjoying and celebrating life...
Oliver Freddy also leaves the room with the guitar player, but it's not to have a drink. He wants to find a slightly more quiet place to immerse himself in this semester curriculum. He wants to stay on top and prepared, and perhaps make it into the honour roll also for this semester.. Surely, that would make his mother really proud.. He would hate to let her down..After a while Inge was starting to feel more energized from the drink and no longer cared that it was raining all around her as she launched into the university cheer for a few times all by herself there on the lawn...
A recurring pattern whenever she's had
a taste of that juice.. She has a conversation with Matthew Tellmer
about whatever random topic springs to mind, from musical plays to
what they did during summer vacation, and then she can feel hearts
floating through the air or something like that... but even so, she
has never acted on any of it. During this party Oliver Freddy and Inge will get the reputation of being eternally faithfull with each other, so they know how to keep their hands off of anyone else. :P
Of course, everyone gets hungry after a while so she is fetched in from the lawn by her boyfriend to sit down to have something to eat. While eating she is pretty fascinated by this Harold Assange guy talking about this new medicine he just tried..
Oliver Freddy does the dishes and she
goes for the university slogan dance thing again..
"Come on, why
don't you join in?" she asks him, but Oliver Freddy, who wasn't
to interested in starting the semester with a party in the first
place, has a different idea. He wants to go for something that will
sharpen his mind instead of dulling it, so he goes to practice chess
in what must be this Harold Assanges guys bedroom...
"Whatever" she thinks as she walks back to the living room where Jonathan Dirk is still standing playing guitar..
Then a little more of that slogan dance outside, and finally the
rain seems to have moved away and it's possible to see the stars
again. Not sure if she would care about that right now, though. :P
Oliver Freddy is kind of enough to go downstairs and give her a
hand with the juice keg, but he also states that this will be the
last one before they're going home.. ;)
Inge wants to party for a little while longer, so he goes upstairs to read in his curriculum book one more time...
While Inge is downstairs watching people play guitar..
Juice and feelings.... sweetheart we don't have to go home noow do we??
..but yes they do. Oliver Freddy is not giving in. He thinks she's had enough and it's time to go.
Oliver Freddy is in the drivers seat now. ;)Priorities before going to bed. Oliver Freddy thinks about science, his studies and his career, he has a goal in mind. Inge has had a taste of the juice and wants to learn mixology to make better tasting, and more 'spicy', drinks...
..but she won't be doing that now. Her boyfriend is there to make sure she goes to bed to get a good nights sleep. ;)
Sweet dreams..
